Varanasi is a traditional city. When Manoj Agrawal opened the Godrej Vedanta Store there digital locks were not a thing. People trusted what they knew. It took a lot of courage for Manoj Agrawal to introduce locks in Varanasi. He had to convince people about the benefits of Godrej Vedanta locks. Manoj Agrawal faced a market. He wanted to bring in the concept of locks, from Godrej Vedanta.

The early days were really tough for Manoj. People who might buy from Manoj were not sure about things. They did not know what to do. Manoj did not try to force them to buy from him. He just sat down with them. Listened to what they had to say. Manoj explained things to them. Taught them about what he was selling. Manoj did this in a calm way. He was not, in a hurry to make a sale. Manoj just wanted to help people understand what he was offering because he really believed in it.
